BA (Hons) Health and Social Care Practice

Overview

This part-time programme of study has been designed to enable practitioners to explore and relate political, social and environmental considerations about care from discipline specific perspectives. Whilst students will be supported to examine care development and delivery from their own professional standpoint, they will of necessity take account of how other disciplines challenge and contribute to the quality of care. In recognition of the value of inter-professional teaching and learning, this programme of study will be available to practitioners from a range of health and social care professions. Shared learning with diverse professional groups has the potential to enrich the learning experience by supporting the development of critical thinking, creativity and nurture an entrepreneurial approach to health and social care delivery.

This course is open to any practitioner working in the field of health or social care. There are two entry requirements:

  1. The candidate must have 120 credits at level 5 or equivalent.
